Rachel has worked as a news reporter, feature writer, travel writer, sub-editor, page designer and celebrity interviewer … skills that can be learned and used by your pupils in a variety of ways.

With 19 years of experience in newspaper journalism, Rachel works in schools, colleges and universities and for  organisations, offering careers advice, anecdotes and practical writing tips.

Rachel’s workshops for older pupils include Finding the Story, while primary pupils can enjoy the Who, What, Where, When, Why game and workshops can be tailor-made to your school’s needs.

Rachel is happy to answer questions and have discussions around her experience as a tabloid journalist and around journalism ethics and media responsibility.
